Our first official photoshoot was so much fun! Brittney-June Photography did an amazing job photographing all the kids in their new Sew Bright Creations fall and winter products. All of these items are now available in my Etsy Shop.

It was such a humbling experience watching the kids laugh and play in the products I have spent many hours making – especially the dresses! These three little ladies did an excellent job modelling the Ishi dresses.  I love this pattern by Straight Grain Patterns; it is so fun and the options are endless. Plus, who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?!

First up is my little Emma in her gazelle dress, fabric by Cotton + Steel. This is size 1, the smallest size available.

Next up is sweet little Astrid in the Fantasy Forest dress, fabric from Funky Monkey Fabrics.

And the oldest is beautiful Harlow in the queen dress. She loved the pockets so much! Fabric is 16th century selfie by Tula Pink Elizabeth from Stay Home Fabrics. I make this dress up to size 6. They can be found in the Dresses section of my Etsy Shop.

Next up are the boys. Being a mother of a little girl, I am continually drawn to all the super adorable girl items, however I promised some mothers of boys that I would make something for them. So here they are – bow ties! This Peek-A-Boo pattern is perfect for all gentleman.

Group shots were slightly challenging…but here they are, the handsome boys showing off all three size options: baby, toddler and child.

The littlest gentleman is Hudson. What a sweet smile, so happy about his polka dot bow tie, made with Michael Miller fabric.

Next up is Sawyer, rocking his moustache bow tie. So much style! Fabric is by Alexander Henry from Bobbie Lou Fabric Factory. There are only a few of these left in my Etsy Shop.

The wisest gentleman is Max, looking so sophisticated in his houndstooth bow tie, another Michael Miller Fabric. Find other fabric options on Etsy.

The ones of Harlow and Max are just too sweet; a bunch of naturals.

The next new product, which is perfect for fall and winter are the baby top knot hats. I love these hats because they actually cover your little one’s ears, not to mention are super cute 🙂 Another Peek-A-Boo pattern, all made with Riley Blake knits.

Hats come in two sizes, 0-6 months and 6-12 months, although Astrid was lucky enough that it even fit her! More fabric options in my Etsy Shop.

There are also a few new fabrics for the baby/toddler scarves. These scarves are designed to look like an infinity scarf, however they have a snap at the back making them easy to take on and off. Recommended for 6 months to about 2/3 years old. Pattern by me 🙂

Emma, Mila and Hudson are all rocking more Michael Miller Fabrics.

And here is Sawyer in the most popular scarf! This super trendy scarf is currently sold out, however you can still order from my Etsy Shop here. It will be about 2-3 weeks before it ships, so you better get it while you can! Fabric is another gem from Bobbie Lou Fabric Factory.

And the last new item to my fall/winter collection are more headbands! There are 8 new fabric options from Girl Charlee. All the headbands shown above as well as several more are available in my Etsy Shop Headband Section. I’ve also included two special 3 pack options. These make great gifts or stocking stuffers!

And the best for last – the group shots! Before the photoshoot I had all visions of these picture perfect shots with all the kids. Uh ya…who was I kidding! Trying to get 7 kids together from 8 months to 5 years old all in one shot was, well lets just say, a bit challenging. I think this one summaries it perfectly…haha!

Two are trying to pull each others hats off, two are laughing and giggling, two are crying because they just want to run around and one is sleeping! But really, they did have fun playing in the park!

And my favourite photo is this group shot. I love it because its an honest photo. The kids are having fun in their own way and aren’t all posed how I originally envisioned and thought I wanted. This is better, kids being kids, its just perfect.

A huge thank you to the kids and their parents for coming out for our photoshoot! The little personalities of your children shines through in each photo. And a super huge thank you to Brittney; you did an amazing job with the kids and getting their attention (which I learned was not as easy as I thought!). Make sure to check out Brittney-June Photography on Facebook and Instagram @brittneyjunephoto.

Thanks for reading, I hope you’ve enjoyed the photos. Now go shop!
