You know I love supporting other handmade shops, so I thought I’d share some super fun handmade halloween ideas with you! All the shops I’m sharing today are Canadian too because let’s be honest, exchange and duty sucks. Plus it feels good to support the people living in your own country! Below you’ll find some costume inspiration, trick or treat bags and halloween decor!

There are also so many other Halloween handmade items on Etsy. Click HERE to have a look!

Handmade Halloween Small Shop Guide

Trick or Treat Bag

Every trick or treater needs a bag for their goodies! The 2018 Sew Bright Trick or Treat Bags are now available and there are 4 pattered option plus 1 colouring option this year! The ghosts are even glow in the dark!!! They sold out last year, so make sure to get yours before they’re gone! Click HERE to shop!

These bags are lined so there are no inside seams, completely washable, have super durable handles and are the perfect size for small children. I’m pro making my child carry her own candy bag and this is just the right size for her. Once it’s full it’s time to go home!

Click HERE to check out the HOLIDAY section in Sew Bright’s Etsy shop for more halloween products including baby bibs and headbands!

Here’s a couple photos from the last two years to show you the size reference. I haven’t blogged about the Chip costume, but you can find out how to make the Grammy costume and a Cupcake one HERE.

Costume Inspiration

If you have a new babe, the costumes by Awesome Sauce Designs in Vancouver, BC are too cute! This sushi roll is to die for! They also have an adorable burrito one and include FREE SHIPPING on either of these baby blanket rolls!

The princess dresses from Cute and Simple Designs are absolutely gorgeous! The best thing about a princess costume is I bet your little girl will wear it over and over again! We have a box of dress up costumes and the princess dresses always get worn. This Snow White one is my favourite, but check out her shop HERE to see them all! Cinderella, Belle, Elsa and more!

Food Accessories

It’s normal to accessorize your food right?! Haha. Well, if you have to bring a food dish to a Halloween Party or are hosting, then you need these fun cupcake toppers! They don’t just have to be for cupcakes though, they are super fun in other dishes. Stick them in your dip for veggies and dip or add to any type of food platter. Check out my daughter’s dinosaur birthday party from last year to see how I used the dinosaur cupcake toppers that Glitter Paper Scissor made us! But first, click HERE to get your Halloween ones!

Home Decor

Who decorates their house for different holidays? I love the idea, but most of the time it doesn’t happen… well it happens a little bit, but most of my decorations are tacky and not simple and modern like these signs! I love the look of all of these signs, don’t you? They are handmade by Mama Says Signs in Ontario.

Which one is your favourite? Trick or Treat, Boo, Ghosts and Goblins or Happy Halloween?
