Looking for that perfect gift to make for your special teacher, recent grad or just something small for a friend? These tea cup flowers are just right! They are inexpensive, quick and easy to make. Perfect, right? I have have a free printable download with different quotes that you can add to your tea cups.

We made one of these tea cups for my toddler’s teachers to celebrate Early Learning Childhood Education month in May and use the tag “Thank you for helping me grow” and another for a graduation gift and used the tag “Bloom and Grow.”

Follow these simple instructions to make your own in minutes!

Step 1.

Use a two part epoxy to glue the tea cup to the saucer. I did this after (only because I forgot to do it first), but it is much easier if it is done first. Let dry completely. We got these tea cups from a garage sale for $0.50 each! Garage sales, thrift stores and auctions and great places to find old tea cups.

Step 2.

Place a few small stones or gems in the bottom of the tea cup to prevent over watering and add a small amount of soil (the plant takes up most of the room).

Step 3.

Add small succulent. These ones are from Hawthorn and Wool in Warman, SK.

Step 4.

Add tag depending on the occasion. These are perfect for teachers, graduates, get well soon, friends, grandmas, moms and more! Click the link below to get your FREE printable page with 4 different tag options, including the ones in these photos.

Step 5.

Package (optional). This one was packaged for a graduation gift with cellophane and ribbon to make traveling easier.
